Although street food has gained the undeserved reputation of symptoms heralded in Pepto-Bismol commercials, it is the very essence of the food of the country and should not be skipped over in favor of a tidy restaurant that caters to foreigners who are looking for something a little closer to home. A little dirt never hurt anyone.
